reference to the closing date for a position:

date for the position. AIMS does not accept any responsibility for an
application being received on time, this responsibility is that of the
applicant. If there is any reason as to why your application may not be
able to be submitted in time, you MUST contact the recruitment
coordinator BEFORE the closing date for the position to request an
extension of time. ANY applications received without an pre-approved
extension will NOT be considered. Extensions will be granted on an
individual basis as requested, and are not guaranteed. AIMS strictly
adopts a fair and merit based, approach to our employment practices and
